The Worldpress Photo Exhibition is visiting Maastricht again this year. It’s again in the Centre Ceramique, as it was the last time I visited in 2006. The exhibition will be there from the 1st till the 23rd of November 2008. What I can tell from the last time I visited, it’s certainly worth visiting if you are in anyway interested in photography; many different pictures all tell a different story, sometimes beautiful, sometimes horrid, but still very impressing. I think as a beginning photographer or even an amateur one you can learn a lot by just looking at the work done by the professionals. This year, I think also some photographers from National Geographic Magazine won some prices, and as a great fan of that magazine I will be looking out especially for the photographs they took.
